This is the first film by writer and director Apoorvadhar Budgaiya, who assisted filmmaker Prakash Jha. He has shown the attraction of boys living in towns towards the urban girl. In the year 2016, Sonam Gupta Bewafa Hai episode came into the limelight. A madwoman Aashiq wrote on the note that Sonam Gupta is unfaithful. The author has used that episode well in the story. They have told the boy’s mood and unrequited love story by not making him chatty. However, in these conditions the mood of the girl and the family could also be depicted better.
